Minneapolis protesters trash police precinct, conflict over George Floyd’s dying

A protest in Minneapolis over the dying of a black man in police custody turned violent Tuesday evening, with demonstrators clashing with police and trashing a precinct constructing, reviews mentioned.

A number of hundred demonstrators at about 6 p.m. splintered off from a primarily peaceable afternoon rally and marched to town’s third Precinct to protest the dying of George Floyd, WCCO-TV reported.

Floyd was seen on viral video being pinned down by a white Minneapolis police officer, yelling, “I can’t breathe” earlier than he died.

The group focused the precinct as a result of it’s believed the 4 Minneapolis cops concerned in George’s arrest — who’ve all since been fired — labored there, the report mentioned.

Unruly protesters spray-painted the precinct, tossed rocks on the constructing’s home windows and vandalized at the least one patrol automotive, in response to Fox 9 footage.
