Tamar Braxton says she shaved her head years in the past as a result of she felt so weighed down by her profession and her divorce that she “simply didn’t want any extra weight — not even a strand of hair on my head.”
Again in late 2017, Braxton filed to separate from Vince Herbert, and he or she says that across the similar time she was battling the community that aired her actuality present. By March 2018, she buzzed her hair. “My quick hair represents my freedom,” Braxton advised us, including, “The best way I used to be coping with issues wasn’t a method I used to be essentially pleased with . . . I used to be masking my emotions and it began with the hair.”
She’s co-hosting VH1’s “To Catch a Beautician,” out Monday, by which she helps “disgruntled shoppers confront the beauticians who wrecked their hair.” In the meantime, she says of her sister Toni’s famed quick locks on the duvet of her 1993 debut album: “That haircut was not on objective . . . I do consider it was a results of a hair disaster.”
