Disturbed man leaps into Hudson River from Pier 84

A disturbed man jumped into the Hudson from Pier 84 Tuesday afternoon — telling responders he had needed to be a Marine, police sources mentioned.

The person, whose title was not recognized, leapt from Pier 84 at W. 44th Avenue and 12th Avenue simply earlier than 2 p.m., in response to sources.
