California woman, 13, dies in violent carjacking of household van

A 13-year-old California woman died in a violent carjacking that started whereas she waited for her mother and father to select up meals from a restaurant, in line with stories.

Isabella Cortes and her three siblings — 8, 11, and 18 years previous — have been sitting inside their household van Sunday afternoon in Pico Rivera when the alleged carjacker out of the blue hopped inside, CBS Los Angeles reported.

The suspect, 26-year-old Jose Aguilar, ordered all 4 of the youngsters to get out the automobile, ABC Information reported.

“As soon as the suspect obtained into the automobile, the 18-year-old woman fought with the suspect briefly after which she got here out of the van,” Lt. Barry Corridor of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Division mentioned at a press convention.

The 18- and 11-year-old managed to get out of the automobile — however Isabella and her 8-year-old brother remained inside as Aguilar sped away, the report mentioned.
