Alaska man hijacks hearth truck, drives 15 miles to native bar with sirens on

An Alaska man allegedly broke into an area firehouse, stole a truck, then drove with the sirens on for about 15 miles till reaching a bar in a neighboring city, a report stated Monday.

The suspect, Dawson Cody Porter, was arrested after the enjoyment experience on Saturday in entrance of Fisherman’s Bar within the city of Naknek, an area Fox affiliate reported.

Porter allegedly used a chunk of wooden to bust via a window of the King Salmon Hearth Station in Eagle River, in accordance with the report.

He then acquired behind the wheel of the truck, hit the sirens and took off for the bar, bursting via the station’s doorways and driving about half an hour earlier than climbing out.

“Porter triggered roughly $10,000 in harm and rendered a $100,000 piece of fireplace equipment inoperable till repairs could be made,” native police instructed the information station.

When he acquired to the bar, two cops arrested him on housebreaking, car theft and felony mischief costs, the report stated.
